Oskia London | My First Impression

Hey dolls,

This morning I did a mini "Get Ready With Me" on Insta Stories as I wanted to test out some Oskia London products I've never tried before. I got a lot of messages from you wanting to know more about the brand so I thought it was best to write a post about the five products I mentioned today.

[ Some of the links in this blog post are affiliate links with RewardStyle, I earn a small amount of commissions from the programme but it doesn't cost you anything else to shop through my links.  I just love to share some of my favourite pieces with you all. ]

As I said recently, I've fallen head over heels in love with Oskia, it's always been a brand I wanted to try.

I recently met with the owner, Georgie when her team came to Dublin to launch their new City Life range. I was so excited to learn more about the brand. After speaking to Georgie and Klaudia I was inspired to learn more about skincare.

Skincare is sometime that I have cared about but to be honest I'm not an expert when it comes to skincare.

I have the basic knowledge but after meeting them I wanted to know more about why certain brands use certain ingredients and really delve into the world of skincare.

Just a little disclaimer before I go on, my skin can tolerate a lot of products and I very rarely break out or have a reaction to trying out new products.

I would always recommend speaking to someone trained in a specific skincare range or a skin specialist before buying a product.

As I said this is a first impression of some products from their range, this is not sponsored and these are just my opinions and thoughts.

Osaka London is stocked in Space NK in Dublin and if you have any questions about their products I would suggest heading in to Space NK and chatting to one of the

Renaissance Cleansing Gel - Shop Here

The renaissance cleansing gel is an illuminating vitamin facial cleanser. This is the one product I'd heard most about from other bloggers through the years. When I tried out the cleanser this morning it was on clean skin but I'm looking forward to trying it to remove makeup.

You apply the cleansing gel to dry skin and massage it in, dampen the skin with a little water to emulsify and then use warm water or a damp cloth to remove makeup, dirt and oils. I used a face cloth this morning but you could use a cleanse off mitt or a muslin cloth, whatever you prefer to use when removing your makeup.

The renaissance cleansing gel is suitable for all skin types and works partially well with combination, normal, dull or dry skin.

It contains

  • Pumpkin Enzymes - removes dull skin cells without irritation for a balanced complexion.
  • Vitamin A Palmitate - improves the appearance of sun damage, dry and mature skin to reveal soft, supple texture.

Micro Exfoliating Balm- Shop Here

It was my first time to try an exfoliating balm and I really liked it, the MSM granules were so small it wasn't harsh on my skin. This exfoliating balm contains micro silica and MSM granules that help remove tired skin cells and impurities

I gently massaged a small amount of the balm onto my damp face and worked it into the areas that I would have most congestion, mainly my T-zone.
I then added a little more water to dissolve the granules. The balm turned into a milk like consistency and it felt so refreshing on my skin and so hydrating.

The Mirco Exfoliating balm is suitable for all skin types and can be used several times a week. If you have sensitive skin use a little extra water initially to create a milder exfoliant.

It contains
  • MSM Granules - gentle buff away tired cells and unclog pores, then dissolve on contact with water and smooth and soften the skin. my face felt so soft after using this product.
  • Zinc Glycine Complex - purifies,s supports healing soothes irritation and reduces redness in the skin.
  • Probiotics Oligosaccharide - protects the skin's ecosystem by preventing the growth of harmful bacteria.
  • Reship Seed Oil - rejuvanates by encouraging cellular processes and collagen formation.

Nutri- Active Day Cream - Shop Here

This day cream hydrates, repairs and protects. I love that it has a pump, I hate sticking my fingers into  a jar of moisturiser I much prefer to pump it into the palm of my hand and apply it to my skin.

This day cream is suitable for all skin types and it is an advance lightweight anti-ageing day cream.

It contains most of the ingredients I mentioned above and is formulated to smooth out and help prevent the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It contains hyaluronic acid and omegas 3, 6 & 9 which provide long lasting hydration, they also plump the skin and restore softness and elasticity. I cant wait to continue using this day cream and see if I notice any distinct difference in my skins tone and texture. I will keep you posted on that one.

This is probably the most detailed post I've ever done on skincare and I feel like I've learned so much about different ingredients myself just but doing a little bit of research. What I love about the Oskia packaging is it gives such detailed descriptions about all of the ingriednts and hat benefits they have on the skin.

I will keep you posted on all these products on my stories and I hope you found this post helpful 7 informative. I know there is a lot of information but I got so many mails after I filled that video this morning that I thought it was best to write it all down for those of you who wanted a little bit more information about the brand.

I really look forward to getting to know these products more and incorporating them into my skincare regime.

Love Grace xox
