A Little Trip To London

Hey gals,

Myself and Christopher took a trip to London this week, we want to do more travel this year so London was first on our list. We didn't want to shop all we wanted to do was wander and see all the sights. We walked miles to see everything and really enjoyed it. We visited Camden, Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace, The West End, Leister Square, and Covent Garden.

Lauren gave me a list of places to visit and I trust her restaurant recommendations, that girl knows best. The first place we stopped off in was Five Guys, we had the most amazing burgers. Then we bought tickets to see Wicked. I was soon excited to see this show and it didn't disappoint, it was so good. We walked to Buckingham palace, all along the Thames, over the Waterloo Bridge and up to Westminster Abbey.

Day 2 we headed back into the city and went to a lovely Mexican called Chiquito. We enjoyed burritos and cocktails before heading down to Borough Market and walking to look at Tower Bridge.

On our last day we head to Camdem and enjoyed brunch in The Diner. We walked around the town then headed into Marble Arch, walked down Oxford St and enjoyed a coffee in Le Pain Quotidien.

That was it for our first little trip, now to book our next one, if you have any ideas leave them for me in a comment below.

Hope you enjoyed a little taste of London.

The London Look

Hey dolls,

Myself and Chris just spent the last three days in London. I had planned on shooting more outfit pictures but the weather was too cold. Most days it was in the minus so I had to wrap up. My sister in law got me this gorgeous handbag for Christmas and it was the first time I took it out so I had to share it with you all. We had such a lovely time wandering around, hopping on and off the tube and eating in lots of restaurants that Lauren recommended. I shot this look at Trafalgar Square.

My coat is from Old Navy, I got it in New York
My scarf is from Custom Vintage Dublin
Bag, Jeans & Polo are from River Island
Chelsea Boots are Penny's

I hope you liked this little outfit post.

My Hair Transformation with Black Amber Salon

Hey dolls,

If you follow me on snapchat you will see I recently changed my hair. Ive wanted to go short for so long but I was building but the courage to get the chop. New Year New You and all that so I decided it was time for my hair transformation.

I decided to book in with Black Amber, It is such a fab salon, so luxurious and they use top of the line hair products. I also knew they did the Olaplex hair treatment, it is the best hair treatment on the market and Ive heard amazing things about it from fellow bloggers. Love Lauren raves about it so I knew it had to be good.

I was 5 hours in the salon and its safe to say I have never felt so pampered, the staff where so friendly and looked after me so well. I booked in with the senior stylist Lyndsey, her attention to detail as second to none and she did an amazing job.

I am so in love with how it turned out and the cut exactly what I wanted. I still want to go a bit lighter with the ends but bearing in mind my hair was black 2 months ago I think the colour is looking pretty well.

If anyone looking to go short or looking for a new salon I highly recommend Black Amber.

 Before
 After first colour & cut
Time to go lighter
Olaplaex is a treatment that helps restore from the cuticle of the hair. I don't know too much about it but Lyndsey advised it was the best thing for me as my hair had been coloured so often. My hair felt silky soft and still does after the treatment.
The massaging chairs where so nice.

And the finished look, I love it and hope you all do too.

Click here to see more from Black Amber and definitely book in with Lynsey, she is amazing.

Thanks for stopping by and having a read.

Cailyn Makeup Review

Hey dolls,

It been awhile since I shared a makeup review with you all. Today I want to talk about a makeup brand that is being talked about a lot in the press right now and I also seen a demo if it in Xposé last week.

I started using the brand Cailyn last summer and what drew me to the brand was the uniqueness of the products. The O!wow brush is a brush that I have seen everywhere lately, it has the softest hairs and applies foundation flawlessly.

The BB compact foundation is an amazing product, I love the finish of it and it wears really well. Ive been wearing this foundation on days when I don't want to wear a lot of makeup but still want to look fresh faced. It has a lovely coverage and feels so light weight on the skin.  It is super hydrating and give a gorgeous luminous finish.

In the picture above I am just using the BB foundation, I don't need to set it with any powder, it feels so soft on and lovely and dewy. It applies so easily and quickly with the O!wow brush. This product is perfect for anyone that likes to do there makeup in a few minutes and it is great for on the go because of the handy compact.

I am also wearing the Idefine eyeliner. it is so easy to apply and perfect for beginners getting into eyeliner. it is not too liquidy so glides on nicely and the thin felt tip makes applying the wing so easy.

If you want to pick up any of these products you can click here and if you use the code Grace you get an amazing 20% off

Happy shopping and let me know if you have tried this brand before.

Grey On Grey

Hey dolls,

I just wanted to share an outfit with you. I am completely in love with these boots and have been looking for a pair like this for the longest time. I got the from PrettyLittleThing before Christmas and this was the first time I've worn them. I'm also obsessed with this scarf my sister got me from Christmas, she got it in Dunnes, I love big blanket style scarfs, they are so cosy. I bought the coat in NYC and bought it in a large so that it would be oversized and comfy. I love the look of this outfit pairing grey on grey. I hope you like it too.

Thanks so much for having a read, I hope you're having a lovely week.

Big thanks to Anouska for taking these pictures.

Skinbreeze Facial - One For The New Year New You

Hey dolls,

Some of you might remember a couple of weeks back I popped into Aqua Beauty to have a facial. I opted for the SkinBreeze facial as it was something I had never tried and had heard so much about.

Aqua Beauty is the only salon in Ireland that does this treatment. I wanted to share my experience with you. I know some of you will want treat your skin to something luxurious this new year. This is the one for you.

The Skinbreeze facial is a 60 minute non invasive facial that helps to hydrate, plump out and rejuvenate the skin. I think I need to book in for a second one now after all the bad yummy food and late nights over Crimbo. My skin is looking a bit tired. This treatment is amazing for anyone with dry skin, ache prone skin. It is great for brightening and tightening and has brilliant anti ageing results.

The owner Michelle did my facial and it was one of the nicest, most relaxing facials I've ever had. It also included a head, shoulder and foot massage. I think at one point I actually fell asleep haha.

SO why is Skinbreeze different from a regular facial? Well I'll tell you.... Skinbreeze is an advanced hydrating treatment that fuses 5 technologies in one system that include; Orbital Microdermabrasion, LED Light Therapy, OSpray,  OInfusion and O3 Ozone Therapy.  Skinbreeze provides a unique crystal-free method of microdermabrasion that simultaneously delivers red and blue light therapy. The Skinbreeze orbital microdermabrasion method provides unparalleled control with 60 different levels of abrasion and uses a hygienic disposable treatment tip and is vacuum free which means that there is no dragging or pulling on the skin during treatment which is one thing I loved. it was so gentle on my skin. That is the technical terms but it felt like my skin was being pumped with light and brightness. After the facial my skin looked tighter and felt so super smooth. My makeup ever applied better :)

If you are looking to treat yourself or to get a fab gift for someone special I definitely recommend popping into Michelle in Aqua Beauty and having the Skinbreeze facial.

For more info and to book in click here.

Let me know if you have tried it or if you do try it :)
